The RSAS Training Strategy Project provides important formal training to all RSAS workers, equipping staff with valuable learnings and skill sets required to perform in their role.
The RSAS Training Strategy Project involves a blended training approach that will be developed in consultation with RSAS Providers and the Department. The project builds on training that is already being delivered by RSAS providers and the Department.
The RSAS Training Strategy Project has been enhanced to reflect the diverse training requirements reported across all RSAS locations. An outline of the face to face Workshops are detailed below.
Tailored local workshops
Face to face local tailored workshops are delivered to RSAS staff in each of the 78 RSAS locations.
In planning for the delivery of these workshops NESA undertakes a training priority profile with each team to identify your training needs. Each workshop is designed in consultation with the local RSAS team ensuring that our workshop reflects your training requirements.
The purpose of the local tailored workshops is to equip all RSAS staff with valuable training that will assist you in completing your role. The workshops focus on all communities receiving a minimum of one training session per year.
