RSAS Online Training
NON-ACCREDITED ONLINE TRAINING
The online training program includes a mixture of interactive and engaging online learning options that you can undertake at your own pace. The purpose of the online platform is to develop a self-pace learning environment that you can access training material and resources at any time that will assist you in your role.
Click on the “Register here” link below and complete the registration page. Once submitted, the NESA RSAS Project team will register you for our online training and send you your unique User Name and Password. When you receive your log in details, click on the link to “Log in” to the online training.

ACCREDITED ONLINE TRAINING
In 2018 NESA will offer three (3) online accredited training units. These units will be made available to 100 RSAS staff and will provide a strong opportunity for career progression.
A description of each unit is detailed below.
BSBLDR402 – Lead effective workplace relationships (Cert IV in Leadership and Management)
This unit is ideal for senior RSAS staff or RSAS staff who are interested in taking on a leadership role. The unit defines skills, knowledge and outcomes required to use leadership to promote team cohesion. It includes motivating, mentoring, coaching and developing the team and forming the bridge between the management of the organisation and team members.
CHCPRT001 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (Cert II in Community Services)
This unit is ideal for all RSAS staff. The unit covers the skills and knowledge required to support and protect children and young people who are at risk of harm. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility.
This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people.
FSKOCM07 – Interact effectively with others at work (Cert II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways)
This unit is ideal for all RSAS staff. The unit covers the skills and knowledge required to interact effectively with others – external clients and internal staff, such as giving or responding to instructions, responding to customer queries and complaints, negotiating with co-workers and management, explaining a workplace procedure, or taking telephone calls from the general public or internal staff.
